Fast, modern, and powerful—these are the core characteristics of the completely updated Sportex Carat GT-S series. These rods are built on a T1100 Helicore blank, reinforced with epoxy resins and nanofibers, giving them high strength and precise control. The new rod series is significantly improved over the previous model, offering better precision and loading capacity during long-distance casts. The sensitive tip of the rod is elastic and has a high bite detection capacity, also being very helpful in “scanning” the substrate.

The 3K split handle has been redesigned and improved (thereby reducing the overall weight), and together with the fast action provides increased sensitivity, immediately signaling a bite directly to the angler's palm. The blank is equipped with eight SIC Seaguide K guides, a carbon DPS reel seat, and above the reel seat is positioned a Seaguide B-Hook Eye to which the hook or lure anchor (or rig as applicable) can be attached.

To benefit from the extended 10-year warranty offered by the manufacturer on the rod blank, you must register at http://www.sportex.de/en/ using the unique code on the warranty card that accompanies the rod. The code is located on the rod's spine and consists of two letters followed by 4 digits. If you notice any defect in the rod, please contact your dealer to resolve the issue as soon as possible. Please note that the extended warranty is activated only when the mandatory fields (marked with *) are correctly completed. If the registration was done correctly, you will receive a confirmation email.
