Walter Uszok Metal Lake Float

The Uszok Metal Lake is a fixed float with a teardrop-shaped buoy made of polyurethane, and the stem (rod) made of metal. The fixed plastic antenna is painted in fluorescent colors (red or green), giving it enhanced visibility at night. The attachment of the stem to the main line is done with the help of silicone/plastic varnishes (the longer the rod, the more guiding varnishes will be used).

A metal guiding ring is attached to the body of the float (right at the base of the antenna) that allows for the securing and sliding of the main line. This float has a sharp body towards the antenna, making it recommended for sessions where fish are picky, with very fine bites. Being a highly sensitive float, it is ideal to be used in waters without waves or currents for small to medium-sized fish.

TIP: Floats with a metal rod have increased stability, especially when the line’s weight is spread out. They are ideal if you want to find out if fish are present at depths other than the maximum set depth. During the descent of the hook through the water column, any bite is indicated by the float even if it is not in a vertical position.
